From Texas to Africa: Quilted Prayers that Crossed Continents

To extend this message of encouragement even further, the Texas quilters also created pocket-sized prayer blankets—small fabric squares infused with the same love and prayers as the larger ones. As the SOM team visited remote villages and met with local believers, they washed the feet of African leaders in a powerful act of humility and service. During each encounter, they placed a pocket quilt into the hand of the recipient, speaking prayers of blessing and courage.
