Faith and Grace: Total Dependence on God

Faith and grace need to be understood and applied now more than ever. Paganism is making a comeback in the secular western world. Uncontrolled sin has invaded segments of Israel and the church. At the same time, legalism compounds itself across other churches and Israel. (Legalism also influences the beliefs of many Muslims).

Perversion and Confusion

Have we come back to the perversion and confusion of the “Roman Times”? At the peak of the Empire, the Apostle Paul wrote, “to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints”.… The finely balanced message contained in this letter is desperately needed today. Paul’s terminology is under continual attack. Satan and his cohorts attempt to redefine the vocabulary of God and “meddle with every doctrine” (Proverbs 18:1). The doctrines of faith and grace are under attack!

Total dependence on God

Faith and Grace are central to the believer. The faith of a true believer is not just a “head” knowledge of worldly facts. A believer’s faith is a sustained “heart” commitment to total dependence upon God. Grace is much more than “unmerited favor”; it is the power of God to change and transform us so that in Christ, we may overcome sin, the flesh, the world, and the devil.
