Highlighting a Global Ambassador and an activity they have planned and executed.
This month’s GA Feature is Leif and Heather from Texas.
Leif and Heather are longtime supporters of the Persecuted Church. Last year, they decided to channel Heather’s unique skill set as an interior designer and make a table for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) at their church.
Heather started with three decorative pieces. She underscored the significance of prayer in “setting people free from spiritual chains” by winding an old chain through that year’s IDOP prayer cards.
Heather advised those who would take on a table for this year, “Use what you have.” IDOP is in the fall, so Heather suggested going with a fall theme. “In Texas, lots of people have old chains. But you could easily use something else,” she said.
Leif and Heather were available to answer questions and tell people more about the IDOP. “Just go for it,” she said. “Trust the Lord. People come to the table because of you, not the table. So, smile and have fun with it.”
