REVIVAL AND BIBLES SPREADING THROUGHOUT VENEZUELA

The desire for Bibles in Venezuela requires frequent trips up to the Colombia-Venezuela border. Colombian Christians make these trips to distribute Bibles, while others work to beef up radio installations to broadcast the gospel of Jesus across the region. Even though tensions are high between the two countries, the authorities on both sides of the border are bending over backwards to help us place large quantities of Bibles and gospel materials into Venezuela. Some authorities assist us to distribute them all over the country.
The only limiting factor are funds to print more materials.
The revival that is taking place inside Venezuela is genuine and highly contagious. At this very critical time, we want to be able to get as many Bibles into Venezuela as possible. Falling world oil prices are putting even more social pressure on the extremely depressed economy. It is clear, under the current circumstances, that the economic and political situation in Venezuela is not sustainable. We don’t know how Venezuela will solve this pressure. We believe it is possible that so many people could genuinely turn to God that it will dramatically improve the future of the entire country.
Of particular interest, is the fact that large evangelistic meetings are taking place among virtually all of the military units. We are contemplating republication of our special New Testament camouflage pocket Bible that are designed to fit in a standard military uniform.

We are in the midst of a national nightmare.
God has shown me that the situation will get much worse before it gets better. This crisis is necessary in order to remove corruption and cleanse the country down to its very foundation. At the same time, I have been shown that God will once again bless our nation, beginning with widespread distribution of the Bible.
It seems strange to Western Christians that there is a shortage of Bibles in many countries.
And yet, we frequently hear Christians ask us to provide more Bibles. Christians in hostile and restricted regions treasure God’s word as we do our freedom – but it is in understanding God through His word real freedom is found. Therefore Bibles for Venezuela is a sound strategy to bring lasting hope to its beleaguered people.
