Welcome to the Connection Team! Your talent for networking and fostering relationships supports our persecuted family. You excel in forming productive and encouraging relationships.
Here’s how to begin your journey with the Connection Team:
1. Seek Divine Guidance and Identify Potential Connectors
Ask God for wisdom to find people who want to serve the Persecuted Church. Start with people in your network—friends, family, or coworkers. Pray for them. Ask God to open their hearts and draw them into this important mission.
2. Educate and Inspire Others About SOM’s Roles
Tell others how they can serve with SOM International as a Global Ambassador. Explain how they can pray, serve, and give to help our persecuted family. They can meet the needs of the Global Church.
3. Host Informative and Engaging Gatherings
Host an event to introduce people to the Persecuted Church. Share compelling SOM testimonies, lead prayers for the Persecuted Church, and encourage people to subscribe to the SOM International newsletter for updates. Remember the four W’s for effective meetings. By God’s grace, you can grow a committed group of supporters.
4. Facilitate Ongoing Engagement and Follow-Up
Create a follow-up plan to cultivate relationships and expand your network. Invite people to gatherings and build strong connections.
5. Identify and Empower Emerging Leaders
As your group grows, look for people who show potential for leadership. Plan one-on-one coffee meetings with potential leaders. Find out what their interests are and how they can contribute. Encourage them to take on more significant roles within the network and help them connect with others.
With these strategies, you’ll build relationships that support the Persecuted Church. Welcome to the Connection Team, where you have an impact.
