Prayer is Vital for Global Work

Prayer is essential and fuels our passion for domestic ministry in serving the American Church. The mouth speaks what the rest of the body cannot. Richard Wurmbrand was imprisoned for his faith in communist Romania for 14 years. In order to persuade Richard to deny his faith, the guards used belts to whip the tender soles of his feet. Richard shared that his mouth cried out in agony, not his feet. Likewise, in the Body of Christ, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” (1 Cor. 12:26)

The Feet of Jesus

The American Church serves the “feet” of the gospel; those on the ground working in the world’s 40% population, which is considered restricted and unreached. We are their mouthpiece crying out to God in prayer and speaking up in advocacy for others.

Action to Pray:

Consider setting your alarm at 1:08 p.m. reminding you of the passage of Scripture in Acts 1:8. Pray for revival in the American Church and the Holy Spirit to move and give global vision back to His Body in North America.

“…You will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

How do we pray and serve the Body of Christ in America? Our Witness Development Department assists our partners in a growing relationship with Christ and serving His Global Body. We encourage partners with us to Pray, Serve, and Equip.
