Waves of Persecution Break Out on American Shores
Bob Fu, Director of China Aid, and the recent account of persecution in the USA

Communism in America?
How would you feel if the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting you and your family directly in the United States? Can you picture a dozen or two Communist sympathizers with picket signs daily ranted outside your home or office? Imagine if death threats came against your family? What if you experienced a widespread smear attack campaign filled with deception designed to undermine your family and ministry? Consider what it would be like if you have to depend on local authorities for protection and move to an undisclosed location?
Sounds like a fantasy? This is precisely what is happening to Bob Fu, Director of China Aid in the United States. This IS happening. This is happening in America. Let. That. Sink. In.
Director of China Aid, Bob Fu, Faces Persecution in the United States
Bob has been a friend of mine for over 20 years. Bob Fu and his wife escaped China after imprisonment and much persecution for their faith in Christ. In 2002, they founded China Aid to support persecuted Christians in China. He is a personal hero to me. I am a witness to the thousands of Chinese he has assisted and encouraged.
Beginning October 5, a range of 12 to 100 picketers daily have arrived at Bob Fu’s home address in Midland, Texas. Bob and his family have moved to a safe house and are being forced to sell their home. The demonstrators have verbally accosted him and accused him of being a communist spy, a fake pastor, and a threat to society.
The opposition is using social media platforms to encourage others to protest, slander, and even murder. We now have evidence that this protest is coming directly from the orders of President Xi Jinping and that the Communist party in China is paying the demonstrators. Nothing can be legally done against the protesters since the United States’ legal rights include freedom of assembly and speech.
Director Bob Fu’s Experience Calls the American Church to Rise Up
What does this mean spiritually to the Body of Christ in America that the Chinese Communist Party have a long enough arm to persecute Christians here in the United States with impunity?
What implications does it have that global Christian leaders are not safe on our shores? For many years America has been a safe place to harbor the world’s refugees (political and spiritual). Therefore, what will the future hold for those seeking asylum?
Will the Church in America be silent to see this as a continuing trend? Or will we rise up together in prayer and stand up for those falsely accused?
This week, I asked Bob how we can serve him. He told me to share his story to drum up prayers and spread a message of Christian solidarity. We are united in Christ.
How You Can Help:
- Pray for Bob, his family, and China Aid staff. Pray for the protesters to be convicted and saved to work for good and not evil.
- Write a letter of encouragement to Bob, his family, and China Aid staff. You can send it to contact@SpiritofMartyrdom.com and we will forward it to Bob’s email.
- You can spread the word about persecution in the United States regarding Bob Fu and China Aid to others.
- SOM International has already sent funds to Bob Fu and China Aid to support them during this crisis.
